UX Research at Salesforce.org
I joined the UX Design team at Salesforce.org as a Senior User Experience Researcher in February of 2019.
Salesforce.org (or “SFDO,” as we refer to it internally, in distinction to its parent company Salesforce.com, “SFDC”) is the social impact center of Salesforce, and we equip nonprofit, educational, and philanthropic organizations with powerful technology to help them operate effectively, raise funds, engage their constituency and their clients, and connect people with causes they care about.
As UX Designers and Researchers, our team represents the voices of our customers and partners around the world. We get to know our users and deeply understand their goals, motivations, needs, and challenges, then envision, design, and develop solutions alongside our cross-disciplinary teams (Product Managers, Engineers, Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and external partners) to ensure that the software we create is valuable, usable, and useful for our global community of changemakers.
In my work as a UX Researcher at SFDO, I have had a special focus on the fundraising product suite for the nonprofit and education verticals, product adoption, and product innovation within the corporate philanthropy space.
